P West and son James left Friday for Atlanta to be gone three months. Mr. and Mrs. W. H Warlick and daughters, Anne and Thelma and Miss Ethel White spent Saturday in Shelby shopping. Misses Anne and Thelma Warlick spent last week with their cousin, Miss Ethel White. Miss White ac companied them hoqje to spend several weeks. Archie Black, her son. of San An gelo, Texas, is expected to arrive today or tomorrow to be at her bedside. The stroke was on the left side, but Mrs. Black has retained consciousness.
