Miss Lefler Gives Informal fiance. Miss Mary Virginia Lefler delight fully entertained last night at her home in Clevrland Springs Estates, with an informal dance, honoring her house guests. Miss Gertiud? Bryan of Anderson. S. C and Miss Juanita Lefler of Newberry, S. C. The large living room and music room were arranged with a profu , i,,n ol mixed summer flowers. The hostess was assisted by Misses Bev erly Jones and Nita Benton in serving refreshing punch through out the evening. About fifty people were invited. Earl-Blanton Wedding. A wedding of much interest to ‘lie many friends of Cleveland county was that of Miss Agnes Blanton of Earl and Mr. Darvln Earl of Grovei which took place at Gaffney, S. c., Sunday morning. Brass vases holding white phlox were us-d on the altar with numbers of white candles Mrs. Dexter Evans of Flor ence prosided at the organ. Before the ceremony Mrs. At Bennett sang tn exquisite taste, two selections "At Dawning" and “United" and Henry I,ee Weathers gave a beautiful vio lin selection entitled "Old Refrain." At the first notes of the wedding march, the ushers, John LeMaster, jr., of Columbia, and Whitelaw Ken dall. of Shelby, a brother of the groom, took their places in the chancel. Following the ushers, the only bride's maid. Miss Dorothy Ruff entered, becomingly dressed in orchid chiffon with orchid slippers and carrying garden flowers ttel| with pink tulle. The dame of horur. Mrs. John Earle Jones wore an at tractive dress of yellow chiffon with yellow slippers. She carried garden flowers with green tulle ribbons. The maid of honor Miss Annie Thomas, the bride's only sister, was hand somely attired in turquoise chiffon beaded in rhinestones. Her slippers were of the same tone and her arm bouquet of garden flowers was held with streamers of silver tulle. The bride who entered with her father.
