OLDEST TAR HEEL 112 YEARS OF AGE, CALLED BY DEATH Creswell.—Lemlt Cabarrus, who died recently at his home near here, was 112 years old and was believed to be North Carolina’s oldest resi dent at the time of his death. He was born August 12, 1817, according to members of his family. He is survived by a sister, two brothers, four sons, five daughters, 62 grandchildren, and 85 great-grand children.
