The License Office will be clos ed on New Year’s Day and it will be to your advantage to buy your License Plates as soon as possible. We have only sold a few over 1000 and there are around 5000 to 6000 to be issued in the next three days if everybody has theft plate on their car by January 1. Hamrick, the parents of the bide, last Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Philbeck is a graduate of the Lattimore high school and attended Boiling Springs junior college lor awhile. Mr. Philbeck is the son of J. H. Philbeck and a young man of fine character. The ceremony was performed by Rev. D. P. Putnam, prstor of the happy couple. They will make their home with the father-in-law and engage in farming. Mrs. Gardner Gives One O’rloek Luncheon. Mrs. L. W. Will Continue In Business The removal by death of our beloved chief, Mr. T. A. Stanley is a great blow to the firm and to the community The Stamcy Company serves, by the stores at Fallston and Polkvillc, but we wish to an nounce that the stores will continue in business and maintain the same policies set by the lamented head of the firm.
