BUT IS SPREADING OVER THE ENTIRE WORLD People Of This Country Sanding Famous Medicine To Relatives And Friends In England, Scot land, Franco, Canal Zone, Nor way, Sweden, Cuba and Many Other Distant Lands, If you had found a medicine that was of eueh benefit to you that you would go to the trouble of sending It to relatives and friends In distant countries, you would have to be convinced in your own mind that It possessed real merit, wouldn't you? That's Just wh*t thousand* of people throughout the United States have been doing with Sargon. From all over America and wher ever Sargon has been Introduced, thousands of letters have been re ceived from grateful users telling of the gratifying results that have been accomplished by this celebrated medicine. THOUSAND EXPRESS GRATITUDE On November 37th, a letter dated November 33rd, was received at the Sargon offices advising that In one week one drug firm alone had re ceived orders for Sargon to be ship ped to Cavite, Philippine Islands: Coca-Solo, Canal Zone; Belebrook, Ireland; and Paris, France. Only recently a well-known resi dent of Denver, Colorado, who had been restored to health by Sargon, sent a fult treatment to London. England, to his sister, who Is the wife of an executive of one of the greatest retail drug firms In the British Empire. During the pest month there ap pesred in the Toronto papers the statement of a well-known World War veteran whose health had been greatly Impaired while In the serv ice. who stated among their things, thst he owed hi* restoration to health to two bottle* of Sargon sent him by a friend In Minneapolis. " LETTERS RECEIVED FROM THE NORTHWEST From the Northwest, many letter* of thl* kind have beln received advielnf that user* of Barton are sending It to relative* beok in their bid countrle* of Nonfcy and Swed en. Many such letters and endorse ment* have been received from men of prominence, including former governor*, businesa and profession al men, mayors, state and county of ficial*. and even Ministers of the Gospel have deemed it their duty to come forward and tell what Sargon has done for them. These are only a few of thousands of such cases and not a day nor a week passes that does not faring } hundred! of statements from the people concerning the good this medicine Is doing, and reciting case after case that would convince the most skeptical. Sargon's fame ie built on actual results—not empty promise*, and only thoaa who have put it to the test know its real powers. Sargon’s aim is not mere tempor ary relief, but new and abundant health. No wonder it is now called the medicine with a million friends. Bsurgon may be obtained in Shelby CM MUCKER TUBPOLITICS Recalls Political Battles Bet net n Simmons, Carr And Kitchen. Upholds Simmons. Editor Cleveland Star: The writer does not elsim in fallibility In either opinions nor conduct; end when he enter* a pro test against errors In political pro cedure or the system and activities of popular education, ha finds the censor on duty; and If not by di rect charge, he learns from in uendo that h# la a “furrlner" and not aa wise nor patriotic as some one born here. The political course of Henry Clsy in the council* uf the nation, the fierce and vitriolic phllllplca of that gifted evangel of Democracy, Colonel Henry Waiter son of the Courier-Journal, the 11* lustrlous host of Becks, Brecken ridges, Orltendens; all show that Kentucky Is steeped in ignorance, cowardice and pusllanlmous traits generally; and the only times I vote right is when I am wound up by the only two Illustrious famlllee of this region. The same language and candidate when approved by the eelt-appointed cenori ha* a differ ent meaning when O Keyed by some of these gifted mortals as when I use It. It means fish one time and fowl another; when ex amined by the touchstone of the truly Inspired censor. For Instance, we have a senior V. 8. senator, answering to the name of Furnifold Simmons, Thirty years ago I had never heard his party loyalty in cause of Democracy im peached. He yearned for the eena torial toga with perquisites, honor* and emoluments. I acted under de lusion that X was a free American citlsen and declared for the gallant philanthropic General Julian 8. Carr for the place. He was a gallant Confederate soldier, a successful captain of Industry; and a friend of colleges, elementary school* and churches. HU benefactions had helped Chapel Hill, Davidson. Wake Forest and he bought the present site of Duke university—then Trin ity college; and moved the Institu tion to Durham. In addition, no un fortunate veteran who wore he grey ever appealed In vain for relief when In dlstreaa. Instead of going to some one boss lawyer In some one hoes town to be told how to vote. 1 rushed In. fool-Hke. where political angels dare not tread; and championed the cause of the illus trious and successful veteran. By tha fortunes of political warfare—the two inoat Influential dailies in the state were with me, and used my conrlbuted matter. Gen. Carr was maligned and traduced—and I cams In for my share of meddling where I had no bulness and not heeding the voice of political wis dom. F. M. Simmons was invested with every attribute of greatnese; and who so opposed him waa in danger of hell fire. General Carr was signally defeated and helped achieve a signal victory for Sim mons in November. Later. W. w. Kltchln. a true war horse of Democracy, claimed the right to run for U. S. Senate and made a vigorous campaign. He was slandered, traduced, and vilified, again the star of Simmons was in the ascendency. He was the only real spellbinder in North Caroltna; while W. W,Kltchln was a drivelling time server and a demagogue. Later, a minion of Tammy hall, a festering sore in the anatomy of the Democratic body politic and an ad vocate of repudiation of the Con stitution, was selected to lead t he militant hosts of Democracy Sim mons entered a special disclaimer; and the high priests of Tammany and the forces of anti-prohibition stood on their hind feet khd howled like the red Numldian lion. Sim mons was adjudged a liar and a traitor; and the electorate who rushed to the breach in days gone by and battled with the cohorts of Marion Butler and the repudiating bolting contingent who lined up with Palmer and Buckner; were spurned as traitors and bolter*. Verily, no man knoweth the ear marks of Democracy, except law yers. Samuel whose surname Is Mc Nlnch, is a lawyer; and the same as to the evil-minded Corn Cracker. But in the pride and naughtiness of ills sinful heart, Corn Cracker salth to his traducers, “Depart thou to hades.” He is the freest kind of a free nigger when H comes to vot ing and the seme man pursuing his accustomed course—does not con stitute treachery. Doughfaced long haired, bench-iegged nor bald headed lawyers can't influence his suffrage. Tha choir will please ting "Oh for a closer walk with Ood." MELVIN L. WHITE. K-g. Shelby.
