nicely. There were more than 300
present last Sunday. Cradle roll day
was observed. The little tots helped
by others gave a very fine program.
Mrs. F. E. Oreene is the efficient
superintendent of this department.
Next Sunday will be young peo
ples day. the superintendent of this
department, Mr. Wilbur Wilson an
nounced that he expected to have
Mr. John P. Mull of Shelby to speak
also the Lattlmore high school
quartet Is expected to sing. A good

HITS SELF ON SHIN BUT
RECEIVES FRACTURED SKULL
Spearflah, S. D^William Huff,
hit himself on the shin with a ham*
mer and awoke In a hospital with a
fractured skull. He was pounding on
a wall In Spearflah canyon, when
the hammer slipped, missed its tar
get and smacked him In the shin.
Buff, who is 18, fainted, rolled
down an 8-foot bank and struck
his head on a lead pipe. His con
dition Is serious.
