Belwood, Eawndale And Shelby Hoys Present. •By Alvin Propst.i Belwood, .Aug 14— Boy Scouts of • Belwood troop No 1 recently spent one week at the Piedmont Boy Scout camp. which is located at Lake Lanier, near Tvyon. There were over 100 routs in camp (he week we were there, from the different counties which make up the Piedmont council. Cleveland ounty was' well ropreset >rd at camp during this week, having as its representatives! Troop No. i of Bel wood.troop No. l of Lattfmoie, troop No. 1 of Lawndale and a few.scouts from Shelby who were staying, over lor several weeks. Over 100 merit badges vere award ed at the weekly court if honor which is held each Friday night. Some of the. awards .wing to, members of the Belwood troop were: Senior Bed Cross living saving to Scoutmaster J. Alvin Propst and to assistant Scoutmaster Dickson Wil !is. The merit badge for swimming was awarded to assistant Scout master Luther Houser and Scouts Wayne Carpenter and J. A. Hub "bard. . Mr H A Dabbs. national scout, ramp inspector, with- headquarters at Atlanta. Ga„ spent three days in specting the camp while « were there.
