Miss Margaret Blanton leaves to day for Charlotte where she will be a senior this year at Queens college. Mr. Robert Bridges of Washing ton, D. C. has returned to Ins work after visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Bridges. He was accom panied by Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Boyles and little daughter, Betty Fortune, of Shelby, who will make their home there. Mrs. Boyles is a sister to Mr Bridges. Miss Margaret Anthony, who has been -in the hospital for sometime, after undergoing an operation, is reported as showing improvement. j Mr. Bob McDowell, who returned home last Sunday from Washing ton, where he has been working for thp past year, left Friday for Chapel Hill where he expects to enter the university.
