THE BLASPHEMER.
i have lived my life In vain.
For X scorned the common-place—
, Saw no glory In a face.
...Smiling on a bed of pain
Trembling hand.', at simple tasks,
Tolling for a bit of bread—
■ Haughtily X flung my head—

Paint X heard the broken bars
Of the toilers, ready mirth;
While my feet tripped on the earth
T was lost among the stars.
What a poor, blind tool was i.
