Morgan St. School To Present Play Directed By Miss Isabel lloey. To Be Presented Friday Evening At 8 O’clock. The three-act play, “Fashions in Love," given by the eighth grade at the South Shelby school auditorium last Friday evening at 8 o'clock was, a decided success in every parttcu-; lar and was most creditably prc-> sented before a filled house. j The play was ably directed by j Miss Isabel Hoey with a cast as fol- i lows: Mabel Sander.-, Elizabeth Parris, Elizabeth Hughes, Virginia Jessup, Grant Duncan, Clarence i Queen, Mary Sue Hill, Ralph Greene. Vestal Carter, Helen Wil son, Ray Brown, Bill Blanton, Bes sie Moore. It was a comedy drama in throe, acts. Music was furnished by a; string band at intervals during the performance and was an especially interesting feature of the enter tainment. Mrs. Rachel Hunt of Mount Holly ! is spending sometime in the com munity visiting. Mrs. Author Carpenter spent part of last week at her brother's home at Hickory, Mr. and Mrs. Cicero Dellinger, the latter is quite ill with pneumonia.
