panied home by Mrs. John Hudson
and little daughter, Martha Lee, who
have gone to Brevard for a visit
with relatives. Mr. Hudson, who re
cently underwent an operation, is
still confined to the hospital but *s
getting along nicely.

church, to begin on Monday, June
1st, and close with two weeks of
special work With the daily vacation
Bible school, Sunday school train
ing and special classes in a B. Y. P.
U. training school.
The daily vacation Bible school
will begin on Monday morning, June
1, at 9 o’clock. The school will run
for two weeks. The session each day
will cover three hours, beginning at
9 o’clock and closing at lg. This
school will include the ages of from
four through 16 years, with four de
partments, beginners, primary, jun
ior and intermediate. AH boys and
girls and young men and young
women who wish to attend this
school are asked to be present
Monday morning, June 1st.
The Sunday school training school j
will begin on Monday evening, June
1st, at 7:30 o'clock. The first meet
ing will be held in the young peo
ple’s department assembly room
Everyone in the membership who
will take this trainhig, whether in
the classes or* extension department,
is asked to be present Monday
evening. A great number of text
books will be used. This school will
run for five evenings, one hour each
evening.
On Monday evening. June 8th,
7:30 o’clock the B. Y. P. U, training
school will begin. The first meeting
will be held in the young peoples'
assembly room. There will be ten j
cubjects offered to all H. Y. P. U
members and leaders. This school j
will be held for one week, one hour;

The Woman's club met at the
home of Mrs. W. L. Harrill on
Tuesday afternoon of last week and
demonstrated on cake covers and
lamp shades. The club will meet
next time with Mr.;. F. B. Putnam.
Misses Ruth and Rhea Hunt very
delightfully entertained a large
number of their friends from here
and nearby communities with a
lovely party at their home on Sat
urday evening. Many new and In
