Yancy Elliott A Visitor— Personals. Beam s Mill; July 16 —Six weeks ago the Sunday School decided to enter a contest. The pupils were divided into two groups. Miss Elea nor Elliott was selected leader for the Blues and Mr. Carl McSwatn leader for the Reds. Much interest and enthusiasm has been created in the Sunday School work during this contest. Scores are counted on three points: Atten dance, Bibles, and offering. To date the Blues are leading with two points. Attendance and Bibles. At the close of the contest the winning group will be entertained by the other group Mr Chivous Hoyle, Misses Aletha and Marzona Hoyle spent several days this week visiting friends in Boone. Mr. Hoyle remained in' Boone for several weeks. Misses Luclle Weast, Mr. China Padgett of Spindale, and Mr. and Mrs, J. O. Willis of Charlotte spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs G. A. Hoyle. Rev.
