U. which is composed of the fol
lowing churches; Grover; New Hope,
Pleasant Hill, Zoar, Paterson Grove
and Patterson Springs held its
regular monthly meeting at Zoar'
Tuesday night. A fine program was
rendered and then the banners
were awarded as follows: the junior
and senior banners to Grover and
the intermediate and attendance
banners to Patterson Springs. Our
next meeting will be held with the
Grover church.
Mr. Vance King of Charlotte
spent Sunday with Mr. Sims King.
Miss Wilma Lewis of Shelby spent
last week with her aunt, Mrs. J. J.
Curry.
