REPORTER COVERS AN ACCIDENT STORY; SON Hl'RT Newark, N. J,—Prank T. Mc Gaughan, reporter for the Newark Ledger, called Kearny <N .J.) police headquarters in search for news re cently. The desk sergeant told him I to call at West Hudson hospital, where a small boy had been taken, seriously injured, after being run 'over by a truck. I McGaughan went to- the hospital jand found the boy was his son, Ray mond, age eight. Physicians said the boy has a chance to recovery although he auffered a broken leg and a possible skull fracture. Then McGaughan telephoned the story to his newspaper.
