Mrs. Alton Bril Improv ing Aftrr Opr ration. (Special to The Star.) Grover, Dec. 1. Rev. Rush Pad gett,. pastor of the Baptist church, conducted the sunrise service on Thanksgiving morning. The Minette Mill warehouse caught fire sometime early Sunday morning. Many of the men in town volunteered to fight fire and the Kings Mountain fire trucks were called. The fire was all out by noon Sunday The damage was not so great. Mr. and Mrs. Carrol Beam and Mrs. John M. Beam spent the past week-end in Badin. Mrs. John M Beam remained in Badin for an extended visit. Mrs. Alton Bell Is improving aft er undergoing a serious operation In the Gastonia sanatorium. Mrs. Terah Pinked on Ferree and daughter. Margaret Jeanne. and Miss Mary Frances Moss returned home Sunday from York. S. C. where they spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Dan Tow ell. Mr. and Mrs. A.
