The Fortnight bridge club was delightfully entertained by Mi and Mrs. Joe Nash Friday evening from R k? U o'clock at their hospitable home in Cleveland Springs Estate. The American Legion auxiliary met at the Womans club room Fri day afternoon with a large attend ance. The club room was elaborate ly decorated with holly and potted plants. Much business was disposed or. Eight tuck-in pillows were re ported to have been sent to soldiers at Oteen Thanksgiving. Mrs. Daisy DeBerry made a liberal donation to the Christmas offering for the even boys at Oteen that this aux iliary looks Rfter. Each member was urged to send their gift* for Otejn at once as Mrs. Thomas Ramseur and Miss Margaret Crowder will take the Christmas offering next week to the soldiers. Mrs. Chas.
