Reno, Nev.—A former North Caro lina society girl sued her aviator husband for .divorce here, charging among other things that he would not play bridge, nor take her to the movies. Mrs. Mary O. Poindexter, daugh ter of J. Sherwood Upchurch, ot Raleigh, N. C., representative from Wake county, filed the suit against Henry B, Poindexter of Winston Salem, friend and business associate of Smith Reynolds, North Carolina millionaire, who recently was di vorced by Mrf. She alleged her husband, whom she married in New York in 1926, is addicted to drink, will not play bridge, or take her to the movies and that he doesn't like sociRl con tacts. Enlarging upon the cruilty charge she says that on one occasion Poin dexter became so abusive and pro fane it was necessary for her to be treated by a physician. The Poindexters have lived apart since July. It was reported around the divorce colony today that Poin dexter, who was an instructor at Kelly Field, Texas, during the World war, will not contest the divorce.
