Little Dorothy Turner, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Fred R. Ti#ner,
underwent an operation for the re
moval of her tonsils at the Shelby
hospital this morning
Miss Marietta Hoyle is expected
home tomorrow from E. C. T. C. at
Greenville w-here she has been a
student. She will spend the summer
here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
F. L. Hoyle.
Mrs. W. P. Benton and children of
Charlotte are here spending a few
days with Mrs. Mary F. Benton.
Mrs. Harry Hudson is confined to
her home this week with an attack
of influenia.
Dr. and Mrs. Robert Wilson will
go to Charlotte this afternoon where
Dr. Wilson plans to take a study
course in optometry.
Mrs. Troy McKinney leaves today
for Asheville to spend two weeks
visiting her parents.

proved and is returning to his home

had her tonsils removed this morn
