Wilkes County Farmer Says He
Shot Son-in-law To Protect
His Home.
Raleigh, Sept 8.—Asserting he
killed his son-in-law to protect his
home Bryant Stone. 45-year-old i
Wilkes county farmer, in a letter
addressed to Governor Ehringhaus
Tuesday made a dramatic plea for
clemency.
"My only request to -you. sir. it
that before your final decision, that
you, as well as mysrlf. will ask God
to guide you in your final decision
