The youth has been named Ellis Roland Tate and upon hia arrival was attended by Dr. George Oates* Grover physician. Before marriage Mrs. Tate was Miss Fannie Dora Ellis, so the 1934 young* ster is named for both father and mother. A birth certificate properly filled out and certifying to the ar rival of the Tate child has been sent to The Star by Dr. George Oates, attending physician and unless some other child was born in Cleveland county between midnight and 2:30 A. M. Monday, Jan. 1st, the shower of gifts offered by Shelby Merchants will be given to the Tate baby at Grover. The second baby to be born on New Year’s day has not been reported to The Star. When it is, a $2.0C sav ings account is offered by the Union Trust Company.
