Dr. Kenneth Neal, an area veterinarian, will be the guest speaker at the meeting, which begins at 12:30 p.m. in the private dining room at Sizzling Sirloin Steakhouse in Shallotte. Neal will also discuss the possibility and benefits of an animal shelter for Brunswick County. Annual memberships in the league are $5 per person.
