after an extended illness.

Born in Brunswick County on May
10, 1914, he was the son of the late
Florence Potter and Martin V. Skipper
Sr. He was a member of Community
Chapel Baptist Church,

Born in Bonanza, Ken., on May 30,
1914, she was the daughter of the late
John and Adeline Prater Whitaker.

after an extended illness.

Park.
Born in Lumberton on March 4,
1933, he was the son of the late Eldon
C. and Mable Hunt Biggs.

Dewey B. Biggs of Iceland and Walter
G. Biggs of Wilmington; and two

Service Chapel, Shallotte, with Rev.

military honors. Burial was to be in

As national genealjgist, he traced
Scottish heritage for the Clan Campbell
Society.
He seived with the U.S. Army for
26 years and retired from the Black
and Decker Co. He had lived in the
Shallotte area for three years and
was a member of the Shallotte Lions
Club.

M.A. "Rip" Northrop, 64, of

Born in Southport, he moved to
Maitland in 1975 from Wilmington,
where he had lived since the mid
1940s. He was vice president of City
Optical Co. and a veteran of World
War II.
