DRIVING AT A I
Safe driving depends on good vision.
It has been estimated that
some 90 percent of driving decisions
are based on vision. As changes in
your vision are often gradual and
imperceptible, you may be unaware
-J-:.-: _ J??J
LiictL vuu uic uriving ai a uisauvantage.
The only way to find out if your vision
is good enough for safe driving
is to have them examined
periodically. A thorough examination
will test for ALL the necessary
skills. There's much more to it than
visual acuity (being able to read the
eye chart).
For safe driving, you also need
good peripheral vision, the ability to
"see out of the corner of your eye;"
