Perry took the defendants into custody after staking out the area and stopping their car on U.S. 74-76 near Belville. All three were placed in the Brunswick County Jail under $10,200 secured bonds. Clarida, Bowden and Southers were indicted Jan. 11 on felonious breaking, entering and larceny charges by a Brunswick County grand jury.
