A May 27 dinner-dance at th Wilmington Hilton kicks off th celebration, featuring entertainmen by Gloria Crist and dancing to th music of Spectrum. Cost is $50 pe person. Other upcoming events include th Thalian Association's annua meeting and awards night on Friday June 10; a party on June 11 for al those involved in the association' worn tnis year being billed as "th world's largest cast party" and i June 18 moonlight cruise aboard th paddlewheeler Henrietta II. Th cruise will feature entertainment b; 4-U. Cost is $30 per person. On July 16, a 200th Anniversar, Auction and Show will be held a Poplar Grove Plantation north o Wilmington, featuring entertainini and a picnic lunch. Winners of thre trips offered in conjunction with fundraising project will also be ar nounced. The three grand prizes ar trips to Paris, London and New Yor for two.
