The groom is the son of Jim Furr of Shallotte and Jean Johnson of New Bern. The bride is the daughter of Brenda and Tony Hare of Holden, who gave her in marriage. Johnny Jenerette of Galivants Ferry, S.C., uncle of the groom, officiated the double ring ceremony. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Hucks of Muliins, S.C. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Willis Jr. of Shallotte. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal, fitted gown of white satin with inlays of lace and pearls accented with puffed sleeves. The fitted back waistline featured small rosettes with fell into a full train bordered by lace. A silk coronet of flowers was attached to her waistlength veil, with a pouf in the back. She carried a bouquet of white stephanotis, roses and English ivy. DeLana Holden of Shallotte, was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brenda Clemmons of Supply, Tina Hewett of Shallotte, Tanya Hewett of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Anita Hewett of Mesa, Ariz., all friends of the bride, and Teresa Hucks of Charleston. S.C., sister of the groom. The bride's attendants wore identical fitted, tea-length dresses of aqua. Erin Holden of Shallotte, niece of the bride, was the flower girl. The groom's father served as his best man. Ushers were David Hucks and Michael Hucks of Mullins, S.C., brothers of the groom; Ronald Holden of Shallotte, brother-in-law of the bride; and Willie Jenerette and Jack Jenerette of Galivants Ferry, S.C., uncles of the groom. Mrs. Furr works with her mother at Barnacle Bill's Grill at Holden Beach and her husband is a driver for Cublet Ice Co., also at Holden Beach. Vows the sanctuary. The wedding was directed by Mrs. JoJuan Somersett. Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception in the church fellowship hall. A rehearsal dinner was given Friday night by the groom's parents. Before the wedding the bride-elect was honored with showers given by Tina Hewett and Brenda Clemmons in Shallotte, Janice Hucks and Vicki Webster in Mullins, S.C., and DeLana Holden, Pam Grainger and Kim Galloway in Shallotte.
