A ONE-DAY FISHING VESSEL safety and insurance seminar sponsored by
the American Fanners of the Sea and other organizations, will be held at
Twin Lakes Restaurant, Sunset Beach, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with guest
speakers and demonstrations of safety equipment. There is no registration

Dec. 17 each Friday and Saturday, 7 p.m., Bay Road. The Ladies Auxiliary
will sell hotdogs, coffee and hot chocolate.
SHALLOTTE AL-ANON FAMILY GROUP meets at Camp United Methodist
Church, 8 p.m. This is a support group for families of alcoholics.
CLOSED MEETING of Alcoholics Anonymous for individuals who have a problem

NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS meets at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, N.C. 211,

Park off N.C. 211 North, with a variety of sporting activities planned by

A TURKEY SHOOT will be held at the Waccamaw Fire and Rescue Squad
Building every Saturday until Christmas, 7 p.m., with turkeys and hams
as prizes. Proceeds benefit the departments.
