Council, open every Saturday at Sunnyside School, corner of N.C. 130 West
and U.S. 17, Shallotte, offers good, clean, used clothing to families in need,
9 a.m. -12 noon. Formerly located at Camp United Methodist Church.
A FREE BLOOD PRESSURE CLINIC is offered at the Boiling Spring Lakes
Volunteer Rescue Squad building, 10 a.m.-ll a.m.
A COUNTRY AND GOSPEL show at Shallotte Middle School will benefit the
Brunswick County Volunteer and Information Center's Christmas project,
with performers to include recording artist Gene Simmons, the Cedar
Grove Choir and other local groups, 6 p.m.- 10 p.m.
TRI-BEACII VFD holds a benefit gospel concert at the fire station, featuring
The Macedonia Trio, Von Ferguson and the Coastal Voices and Gene
Pinkerton. No admission; however, donations to the department will be
