Dan ford, Hardisfer Wed At First Baptist Pamela Carol Danford of Shal loue and Shawn William Hardistcr of Raleigh were married Sunday, Aug. 13, ai 3 p.m. in First Baptist Church of Shallotte. The Rev. Landis Lancaster offici ated the double ring ceremony. Music was provided by Mrs. Daryl Brown of Greensboro, organ ist; and Mrs. Gayla Hitchings of Cary, soloist. The couple exchanged vows in an altar setting of candelabra deco rated with ivory carnations and daisies, white delphiniums and snapdragons and Mont Blanc lilies. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wayman Danford of Shallotte. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank G. "Jerry" Hardistcr of Southern Pines. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore ar. ivory gown of summer satin, re-cmbioidcrcd lace of Durham and Miss Deanna Sianlcy of Bolivia, cousins of the bride. The attendants wore identical tea length gowns of teal satin with a deep, V-drop waist, basque bodice with bow and elasticizcd sleeves pouffed at the shoulders. They car ried cascading bouquets of ivy, bridal roses, Mont Blanc lilies and babies' breath. Brittany Coleman of Greensboro and Matthew Russ of Longwood served as miniature bride and groom respectively. Brittany wore a gown designed by her grandmother, Mrs. Lida B. Coleman of Ash, and similar to that of the bride. Following the ceremony, a recep tion was held at the bride's parents' home at Ocean Isle Beach. It featured a fitted bodice embellished with iridescent sequins, a Sabrina nccklinc, long fitted and pointed sleeves wiih cut outs. The basque waistline dropped to a full satin skirt with full cathe dral train inset with appliqucd lacc cut-outs and accented with satin roses and scsJ loped lacc edging. Her elbow-length veil was trimmed with seed pearls and held by a bandeau trimmed with alencon lace, seed pearls and iridescent sequins. Her bouquet was a cascading arrangement of Mont Blanc lilies, white bridal roses, white bouvardi, w hitc frcesia and plumora fern. Miss Lee Anne Danford of Shal lottc, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.
