A Shalloitc area man filed Super
ior Court appeals last week after he
was convicted in Brunswick County
District Criminal Court of forcing
his way into a Seaside residence
and pointing a gun at the occupant
of the home.
i*R'rkn Webster, approximately
26, of Brick Landing, Shallotte was
found guilty April |() of forcible
trespass and assault by pointing a
gun, according to the Brunswick
County Clerk of Court's office.
Prior to the defendant's appeal
Judge D. Jack Hooks Jr. sentenced
Webster to a 2 1/2-ycar suspended
prison term, two years of supervised
probation, a $500 fine and 10 days
in the Brunswick County Jail The
case will be put on the calendar for
Brunswick C ounty Superior Court.
Court documents indicate that the
charges against Webster stem from
a March 23 incident in which Web
ster allegedly enteral the home of
Harry Harrison Cave II on Breeze
wood Road by "threatening to blow
(Cave s) head off if he didn't let
him in the hoasc." Webster is ac
cuscd of being armed with a small,
single-barrel pistol in the incident
