Weber and WWard Wed In Double Ring Ceremony Susan Whitney Willard and Brad Icy Harwood Wcbcr were married Oct. 6 at 12 noon at First Baptist Church in Greensboro. Dr. John Sctchficld officiated the double ring ccrcmony. The bride is the daughter of Mar garet and Howard Willard of Ocean Isle Beach and Greensboro. The groom is the son of Sally and Larry Weber of Pittsburgh, Pa. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a white satin and re embroidered Alencon lace gown with a V-neck and deep V back. It featured a fitted bodice and long, ta pered sleeves with poufs of lace. The full satin skirt formed a cathe dral length train, which was bor dered with Alencon lace. Her shoulder length veil of silk illusion was attached to circlets of lace and sequins worn as a back headpiece She carried a cascadc of rubrum lilies, while roses and babies' breath. The bride's sister, Janet Willard Holbrook, served as matron of hon or. Bridesmaids were Linda Willard, sister of the bride; Beth Collins; Lori Armstrong, sister of the groom; Cheri Lugo; and Debbie Willard and Vivian Willard, sisters in-law of the bride. The attendants wore gowns of black lace and taffeta, with a fitted bodice, asymmetrical waist and V back, with short lace sleeves and a full taffeta skirt with high-low hem. The bride's niece. Carolina Wil lard, was flower girl. The groom chose his brother. Jeffrey Todd Wcbcr, as best man. Ushers were Ken Armstrong; Ernie MRS. RRADIJCY HARWOOD WEBER ...Susan Whitney Willard Vicrs; Cowan Griffin; Steven Hol brook, Micahcl Nichols; and Randy Willard and Frank Willard, brothers of the bride. Music was provided by Billy Summers, organist; and Elaine Summers, vocalist. Following the ceremony a brunch was held at Cardinal Country Club. After a honeymoon in Si. Marten, the ncwlywcds will reside in Col umbia, S.C. The bride is a graduate of Greensboro Day School and King's College.
