CEDAR GROVE AREA NEWS Service Will Honor Mothers BY BARBARA T. HEWETT Early in this century some of our j leaders were wise enough to have a Sunday set aside just to remind mothers that they are as flowers, giving always a sweet aroma and beauty in the 1 eyes of the be holder. HEWETT Even the carnations made into corsages seem to represent a Christian mother's love, never let ting go of the petals even when they arc as dry as a powder house. As they get old, the petals instead curl toward the center of the flower. The observance of Mother's Day throughout America gives a feeling of unity in every culture, regardless of creed or race. Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church joins in this annual observance the second Sunday of May. Calabash Presbyterian Church Worship Services Sunday 9:30 AM VFW COMMUNITY HAU.
