Shallotte Teen Pleads Guilty To Burning Of Woodlands An Ash area teen-ager pleaded guiltv in Brunswick County District Court iast week to five counts of misdemeanor burning of wood lamls. .. Ronnie Simmons, 16, ol Mi" Branch Road, was given a two-year suspended sentence by Judge Jerry A. Jolly, who consolidated the charges for sentencing. Simmons was charged by the N.C. Forestry Scrvicc for intention ally setting fire on April 4 to wood land belonging to Federal Paper Co.. according to the warrants filed at the Brunswick County Clerk of Court's office. Jolly placed Simmons on two years' unsupervised probation, or dered that he pay SI 37.30 in restitu tion to the Forestry Service and to not violate any laws for two years.
