Exchange Vows At
Shallotte First Baptist

First Baptist Church Saturday, July
27.

formed the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. James David Gray of
Shallotte. The groom is the son of
Russell demons and Clydia dem
ons, both of Tabor City.
Given in marriage by her parents,
the bride was escorted by her father.
She wore a white bridal satin gown
by Bridal Originals. It featured a
hand-beaded bodicc and Juliet
sleeves with illusion poulfs. The de
tachable train featured an elongated
peplum and cut-out detail.
Maid of honor was Ginny Gray
of Shallotte, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Shaw na Lanier
of Tabor City; Angie Phelps of Sup
ply; Jamie Gray of Shallotte, sister
of the bride; Anita Stanaland of
Wilmington; and Christa demons
of Tabor City, sister of the bride.
Tiffany Calendar of Shallotte was
flower girl.
The groom's father served as his
best man.
Groomsmen were Rix.k> Graing
er of Loris, S.C.; Darren He well of
Wilmington, cousin of ihe bride;
Hugh Doorman and Dale Norris,
both of Tabor City; and Kevin
Clemons and Donovan demons,
brothers of the groom, both of Ta
bor City.
Wayne "Thumper" Crisco of Shal
lotte. cousin of the bride, was ring
bearer.
Music was performed by pianist
and soloist April Cumbcc, cousin of
the bride, and soloist Albert Hughes.
Barbara Gray of Shallotte and
Sherry Willet of Bolivia were mis
tresses of ceremony. Robin Mc
Keithan of Shallotte. cousin of the
bride, attended the bridal register.
Following the ceremony a recep
tion was held in the church fellow
ship hall. Debbie Cum bee of Shal
lotte, aunt of the bride, and Lisa
Winfree of Shallotte, cousin of the
bride, attended the cake and punch.
After a wedding trip to Williams
burg, Va., the couple will reside in
Tabor City.
