The Greater Holden Beach Mer chants Association hosted the dinner for 57 volunteers last Tuesday night at the Beach Cafe, said spokesman Jim Lowell. President Johnny Craig had cer tificates for 75 volunteers who helped run the Halloween Carnival, parade and other events. An estimated 40, (XX) people at tended the arts and crafts fair during the festival last month. Next year's festival is scheduled Oct. 30 through Nov. I . Traditional treats cooked with 18th and 19th century recipes will be offered, and the visitor's center will be decorated with fruits and greenery representative of the Amer ican colonial period. Seasonal instrumental and choral performances begin at 2 p.m. and continue until 5 p.m., featuring the Sea Notes Choral Socicty and the North Brunswick Chamber Ensem ble.
