shop on Dec. 10.
Approximately 50 preschool-age
children, garden club members and
mothers strung popcorn and cran
berries and slullcd pine cones with
suet and bird seed, then used these
items to decorate a Christmas tree
lor the birds on the librars lawn.

recently received a donation of S50
from the Lcland Senior Citizens.
The presentation was made at the
Lcland Senior Center, said Lcland
VRS Capt. Nancy Long. "That was
a lot of money lor them. Wc really
appreciate it," she said.

Lower Cape Fear Hospice recently
by members of the Calabash Elks
Ladies Auxiliary.

Dec. 7 auto accident. Her husband.

ing from the same accident.

a volunteer with the BCLC.
