Wins Bench Press Meet
Wendy Moure Vereen of Ash won two first-place trophies at the
Eastern t 'S A bench I'ress Championships in Charlotte on Dec. 7.
She won first place m the women's light division. 132-pound and
under class, with a 175-pound bench press, said her trainer. Hob
Hoagland of Ocean Isle. Also, she captured first place in the men's
novice division, open to persons in their first bench press competi
tion. She captured that event in the 132-pound and under class.
