Lodge Elects Officers Shallotte Police Chief Rodney Gause was recently elected president of Brunswick County Lodge No. 53 of the Fraternal Order of Police. He was elect ed to the two year term at the lodge's Dec. 9 election, accord ing to spokes man Tom Ver non ol Bald Head Island Public Saf ety. who was chosen as secr etary/treasurer. John Goodw in of the Ocean Isle Beach Police Department was elect ed vice president. Other Ocean Isle officers elected include Jerry Bass, conductor: and James Stewart, chap lain. Don Troutman of Bald Head Is land was elected as guard, and Sunset Beach Police Chiel J.B. Buell will serve as state trustee. Peggy Raber of Wilmington, di rector of dietary services, received certification as a certified dietary manager. Ms. Ricdinger has been in obstet ric/gynecologic nursing for 26 years. She is a member of the national or ganization for obstetric/gynecologic and neonatal nurses, and teaches childbirth classes to emergency medical technician students for the Calabash Emergency Medical Service. She and her husband, Morgan, arc both former members of Calabash EMS. Her certification is recognition of demonstrated special knowledge and commitment to providing a high standard ol patient care and to serv ing as a role model toothers.
