However, the A B honor roll or green card list for the ninth grade had not been re leased when schools dismissed lor the Christinas holiday. In "The Camcorder in the Class rix>m: Video Production Technique," participants will undertake a video project from conception to editing a finished product. The program will differ in format from typical NCCAT seminars, which offer intellectual stimulation and opportunities for reflection and relaxation. Instead, tins project will offer "intense and focused activity in learning a new skill or improving an existing one" in recognition that ap proaches to renewal vary with indi viduals. Pow-Wow Closes Indian Studies A large pow-pow ended a study of Native Americans by students in the second grade classes of Mary Sandlin, Faye Nelson and Helen Davis at Lincoln Primary School in Lcland. Wearing costumes they had de signed and made during their stud ies, students listened to guest speak er Essie Vaughan, a Lumbce Indian who told Indian tales, shared her itage items such as moccasins and jewelry, and provided samples of homemade pumpkin pie for students to eat.
