After a slow start, the Trojans won 10 of their last 14 matches. Noble said the extended football season had an effect on the wrestling team. "We started out in the hole," he said. "I'm real pleased with the way we finished because we have mostly second-year wresders." West Brunswick will lose only two wrestlers to graduation this year, so Noble expects another solid team next season. The lop four wrestlers from each weight class will advance to the state finals Feb. 27-29 in Greensboro. "I think we have a real good shot in five or six places," Noble said.
