For more information call: 579-5753 J The Churches of Christ V The plea of the churches of Christ is an answer to the prayer that Jesus Christ prayed in John 1 7:21 when he prayed that all believers might be one. The churches of Christ plea for religious unity based upon the Bible. In a divided religious world, we believe that the Bible is the only possible common denominator upon which Godfearing people of the land can unite. Our appeal is to go back to the Bible and speak where the Bible speaks and remain silent where the Bible is silent in all matters that pertain to religion. The churches of Christ emphasize that in everything religious there must be a "thus saith the Lord" for all that is done. So, come with us, as we go back to the Bible, and help us restore New Testament Christianity. We will not ask you to believe or do anything unless we can give you Bible authority for it.
