DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Performs highly technical and super

maintenance requirements of equipment and machinery utilized in
the Utility System. Experience in the operation of mechanical
equipment, preferably in a supervisory capacity, graduation from
high school supplemented with training in the treatment and distri
bution of water and wastewater; or equivalent combination of
experience and training.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Certification by the state of N.C. as a
water treatment facility operator at Grade "B" level, and Grade I
Wastewater Operators License or as required by the treatment
facility. Must have valid N.C. Drivers License, Class C minimum.
