Cancer Support
Group Forming
In Local Area
A new cancer support group will
hold its first meeting Tuesday, April
14, at 7 p.m. at The Brunswick
Hospital in Supply.
Dr. Ben Gottschalk of Wilming
ton Health Associates will be the
featured speaker.
The group is being organized by
the hospital to serve individuals un
dergoing treatment for cancer, can
cer survivors and families of cancer
patients who live in the South
Brunswick Islands area of the coun
ty, said Daphne Yarbrough, hospital
marketing director.
The group will meet the second
Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in
the hospital conference room. Meet
ings will be hosted by the hospital in
conjunction with the American Can
cer Society.
