Brunswick County sheriffs de tectives suspect arson and arc inves tigating the blaze, which was report ed around 1:41 a.m.. It appears the suspect threw a flammable liquid on the side of a building behind the Church of the Community at N.C. 211 and Oakvicw Drive in Soulhport, ac cording to Brunswick County Sheriff's Deputy Cathy Hamilton's report. A witness saw a vehicle flee the scene after the fire began. Bruns wick County Fire Marshal Cecil Logan said Monday detectives arc still investigating.
