Sunset Realty was recognized as the top commercial listing office for the region for 1991. Don Lewis was recognized as a Century 21 Gold Associate and Gold Producer, an honor given to the top 21 sales associates in the region, which includes approximately 2(X> offices in North and South Carolina. Brunswick County Construction Value Ud While Brunswick County build ing permits issued and total value of construction in March were up only slightly from March 1991, the jump over February 1992 was dramatic. Figures from the county building inspection department showed the 399 total permits issued in March of last year fell to 321 in February, 1992, then rose in March to 425. Total construction values, reported at SI. 2 million in March of last year increased only to SI. 6 million in February, but were up to S2 million last month. The report also indicates big in creases from February to March in mobile homes, garages, and decks or porches. In February, the depart mcnt issued 55 permits for mobile homes, 8,000 garage permits and 13,496 decks/porches permits. In March these figures rose to 91 mo bile homes, 97,620 garages and 3 1 ,520 decks/porches. Two categories of permits were down, however, in March 1992 from the previous month. Twelve addi tions were authorized in March, at a value of SI 66,499, while February additions were 22, at almost the same total value, S166.292. A year ago, the number was 15 and the cost was SI 65 ,006. Also sign construction fell from six in February to one in March, the same number permitted in March 1991. The values varied consider ably, the sign perm i tied in March of 1991 costing S32,(MX) and the six in February valued at S8.475. Last month's single sign was valued at S880. Total building permits for 1992 to date were 984, whereas the March year-to-date total in 1991 was 908. Total construction value to date this year was S4.9 million, compared with $4.3 million for the year to date in March, 1991. The county has issued no permits this year through March for multi family buildings, industrial build ings, pool or rcmodclings. Six com mercial building permits were issued in March, at a total value of S281.956, compared with three in March 1991, at a value of SI 95 ,658. Why should you vote for Robert J.
