DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Responsible for performing a variety
of secretarial and administrative duties in the Planning
Department. Serves as Staff Assistant to the Director. Work
includes processing proposals, maintaining files of the Board,
attending and taking minutes of the Board, preparing agendas,
and various other duties. Knowledge of personal computers and
software to include Word Perfect and D-Base IV. Work is per
formed under the supervision of the Director.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Considerable
experience in secretarial work. Graduation from high school sup
plemented by courses in secretarial science; or an equivalent
combination of experience and training.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Must become a permanent legal resi
dent of Brunswick County within six months from date of employ
ment.

OF THE BRUNSWICK COUNTY
BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
AND REVIEW
Pursuant to Chapter 1 05-322 of the Genera! Statutes
of N.C., the Brunswick County Board of Equalization
and Review will meet as required by law.
PURPOSE OF MEETINGS
To hear upon request, any and all taxpayers who own
or control taxable property assess for taxation in
Brunswick County with respect to the valuation of
such property, or the property of others, and such
business as required by law.
TIME OF MEETINGS
Meetings will begin Tuesday, April 28, 1992, 10:00
A.M. Final adjournment will be 12:00 Noon, June 9,
1992.
