Defendant Pleads Guilty To DWI, Gets 18-Month Sentence A man was sentenced to 18 months in prison June 2 after plead ing guilty in Brunswick County District Court to a charge of driving while impaired. A total of 12 defendants pleaded guilty to drinking and driving charges and another two were found guilty of DWI during three days of court last week. N.B. Barefoot Jr was the presiding judge.
