DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Performs specialized skilled work in the operation
of one or more types of motorized heavy equipment used in disposing refuse in
the county landfills. Work involves operating a tire machine, packing and cover

ing the public in disposal of trash and performing minor maintenance on equip
ment. Employee is exposed to the usual hazards and working conditions associ
ated with landfill work.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from high school
and 1 to 2 years of experience operating heavy motorized equipment; or an
equivalent combination of training and experience.
