N.C. Oyster Festival
held at Seaside at^the intersection of Hwys. 904 and 179.

Commerce, this event is a tribute to a fall favorite... fresh oysters!

This year's festival will feature seafood delights, arts and
crafts, live musical entertainment, and the famous Oyster
Shucking Contest. A major draw for the festival is oysters,
cooked in a variety of ways. Shrimp, fried fish, coleslaw and
hushpuppies will be plentiful.
Other fun-filled events include a Road Race at Holden Beach
and a Bullshooting Contest to choose the best storyteller.
