Leland Celebration
Set For Saturday
A parade, crafts show and yard
decorating contest are among the ac
tivities planned this weekend in
Leland. where the Unity Group of
North Brunswick is sponsoring a
Christmas celebration.
The crafts show will run from 10
a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Clairmont
Plaza shopping center. Food includ
ing barbecue sandw iches and pizza
will be sold at the show.
Approximately 55 entries will
participate in the parade Saturday at
2 p.m. on Village Road. Entries will
include floats, beauty queens, area
businesses and fire departments.
Queens and local church choirs
will entertain following the parade
at Clairmont Plaza, where children
w ill be able to get their picture taken
with Santa Claus.
On Friday, the Unity Group of
North Brunswick will select the
yards best decorated for the holi
days. Winners will be announced
following the parade.
